Radio Frequency Interference and Space Sustainability

On Monday, June 17, 2013 between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, Secure World Foundation will be hosting two panel discussions on radio frequency interference and space sustainability. The success of radio frequency (RF) communications and space sustainability are intimately connected. RF is essential to satellite functioning as well as communication between satellites and their controlling entities. The Secure World Foundation has gathered a group of experts who will discuss the direct relationship between RF communications and space sustainability, as well as the threat that radio frequency interference poses to space sustainability. SWF Technical Advisor Brian Weeden will also be presenting a new fact sheet entitled “Radio Frequency Spectrum, Interference, and Satellites Fact Sheet.”
