What Is SWF Doing About GDPR?

Contact Management System

SWF uses a contact management system, Highrise. Highrise is on track to be compatible with the EU General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) when it comes into effect on May 25, 2018.

Sending Newsletters and Event Announcements via Mailchimp

SWF sends out monthly newsletters and event announcements via Mailchimp. Mailchimp has implemented new GDPR tools and forms. These tools allow you to quickly set your email preferences. We have also integrated 2-step opt-in for all new subscribers. 

Anonymizing Google Analytics Data

Starting in May 2018, the last digits in website visitor IP addresses will be replaced ("anonymized") before being used in Google Analytics, offering visitors greater privacy while still giving us general locations of our website visitors.
