Brian Weeden Presents on Current and Future Counterspace Threats as part of UN-L Space Law Week

SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden gave a video discussion on "Counterspace threats: Today and Tomorrow: as part of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln's Virtual Space Law Week held September 28 through October 2, 2020. The event brought together experts from multiple disciplines and backgrounds to discuss a range of space law topics, including the Artemis Accords, commercial space launches, spectrum management, military space issues, and planetary protection. 

Dr. Weeden gave a 20-minute talk outlining current counterspace capabilities being developed by multiple countries around the world and how those capabilities might evolve in the near future. Following his remarks, Dr. Weeden had a short discussion with Professor Jack Beard from the University of Nebraka at Lincoln. A video recording and transcript of the session can be found here.
