Videos of SWF-led Panels at the 2019 AMOS Conference Now Available

The Maui Economic Development Board has released video recordings of the keynotes and panel discussions held at the 2019 Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies(AMOS) Conference, which was held in Maui, Hawaii, September 17-20, 2019. The annual event brought together more than 800 international experts to discuss the latest technical research on space situational awareness (SSA). As part of SWF's sponsorship of the conference, SWF staff helped organized and moderate two of the Policy Forum Panels that kicked off each day. 

On day two, SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden moderated a panel discussion on norms and licensing for large constellations that Mr. David Goldstein from SpaceX, Dr. Diane Howard from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Mr. Chris Kunstadter from AXA XL, Ms. Agnieszka Lukasczyk from Planet, and Dr. Michael Nicolls from LeoLabs:

On day three, SWF Washington Office Director Ms. Victoria Samson moderated a panel discussion of SSA data sharing and data repositories featuring Dr. Pascal Faucher from the European Space Surveillance and Tracking Program, Ms. Diana McKissock from the U.S. Air Force's 18th Space Control Squadron, Mr. Mark Mulholland from the U.S. Department of Commerce, and Mr. Rogel Mari Sese from the Philippines National Space Development Agency:
