SWF Participates in Space Tech Expo: Europe

SWF Director of Space Applications Programs Krystal Wilson moderates a panel on “What’s Needed Next?: Preparing the Smallsat Industry for the Next Frontier” at Space Tech Expo: Europe in Bremen, Germany.

Bringing together experts, this panel looked forward to the year to come to highlight developments and requirements for small satellites. It was an insightful discussion of the operations challenges and need for policy and operator coordination approaches to addressing them in order to create and maintain a sustainable smallsat ecosystem. Specifically, presenters commented on whether technical capacity and the speed of development outstripped the policy and regulatory developments and how to address these challenges.

Speakers included: Jeroen Cappaert, Co-CTO & Co-Founder of Spire Global; Abe Bonnema, Founder & Launch Director of Innovative Solutions In Space; and Alexandre Mencik, Director and Board Member of Space Tech Angels Association.
