SWF Participates in Annual SmallSatellite Conference

The annual SmallSat Conference in Logan, Utah, has become the premier gathering of companies, educators, hobbyists, and governments developing cubesat and small satellite technologies. For the fourth year, SWF had a significant presence at the 2018 SmallSat Conference, held from August 6-10, which had record participation from over 3,000 people from 42 different countries. SWF Director of Private Sector Programs Ian Christensen and SWF Director of Space Applications Programs Krystal Wilson both attended the conference. Mr. Christensen moderated a "CONFERS Open Information Session" on Monday August 6th as an official conference side event. This Session provided an update and discussion of progress being made by the Consortium for Execution of Rendezvous and Servicing Operations (CONFERS), for which SWF serves as part of Secretariat team. Ms. Wilson and Mr. Christensen also participated in a meeting of the Commercial Smallsat Spectrum Management Association (CSSMA).
