SWF Contributes to the Group on Earth Observation Activities

From June 11-June 15, Director of Space Applications Programs Krystal Wilson represented SWF at the second GEO Programme Board meeting of 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland. She also participated in workshop on the Paris Climate Agreement and the 2018 GEO Symposium, a forum for interested participants to contribute to the future of the GEO Work Programme, share knowledge and connect with others from the global GEO community.

SWF would also like to take this opportunity welcome Gilberto Câmara (formerly of Brazil's National Institute for Space Research) as the new GEO Secretariat Director. He takes over from Barbara Ryan, who served since 2012 as part of her distinguished career supporting Earth observation and data.
