SWF participates at 10th United Nations Workshop on Space Law

Chris Johnson participated in the 10th United Nations Workshop on Space Law, “Contribution of Space Law and Policy to Space Governance and Space Security in the 21st Century,” September 5-8 in Vienna, Austria, and organized by the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). Mr. Johnson presented on new actors in space, with a focus on the role of private industry, and the need to take their views and considerations into account for future sustainable governance. SWF Advisory Committee member Tanja Masson-Zwaan also presented at the conference. Her presentation “The Relevance of Hard Law and Soft Law in the Further Development of Space Law” is available here.
