SWF Project Manager Laura Delgado López gave a presentation at the GeoBuiz Summit held in Bethesda, Maryland, on April 26-27, 2017. During the session on "Earth Observations: Innovations and Socioeconomic Benefits," Ms. Delgado López discussed the impacts of recent trends on the policy framework governing Earth observation activities and how sustained stakeholder engagement on the relevant policy, legal, and regulatory issues will be essential to enable the link between innovation and socioeconomic benefits in the long term.
