Secure World Foundation partnered with Wilton Park, Airbus Defence and Space, and the United Kingdom's Foreign and Commonwealth Office to host an invitation-only conference held on March 11-13, 2015, to discuss the connections between strategic and security analysts and the space community. Around 40 international participants representing governments, commercial companies, academia, NGOs, and international organizations came to Wilton Park in West Sussex, England, for engaging discussions on the state of space governance today, the role of space in tackling security challenges, and possible next steps for the international community in ensuring reliable and predictable access to space. Washington Office Director Victoria Samson presented on the evolution of space activities and global security and SWF Technical Advisor Brian Weeden spoke to the connections between space and security on Earth.  A final report is forthcoming from Wilton Park.
