SWF Sponsors Space Generation Congress Working Group

The Secure World Foundation (SWF) sponsored a working group of students and young professionals at the 2014 Space Generation Congress (SGC), organized by the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), on September 25 through the 27th, in Toronto, Canada. "On Orbit Servicing: Commercial Opportunities with Security Implications" discussed stakeholders in on-orbit servicing and space debris removal, and the political and legal challenges to this proposed activity, hoping to discover how to ensure its political, legal and commercial practicality. SWF Project Manager Chris Johnson attended SGC to brief the group on the various law and policy aspects of this emerging activity in space.
