Executive Director Michael Simpson is one of four facilitators at an upcoming Wilton Park Conference entitled "Emerging space economies: next steps towards prosperity." Scheduled from July 9-11 at Wilton Park's West Sussex conference center, the session proposes to focus on the role of space technology in economic development and on how to translate insights and capabilities provided by space technology into policy with direct economic benefits. The by invitation conference will bring together participants from space agencies, research organizations, government and the private sector from a wide cross section of the world's space economies.
