SWF Co-Sponsors Events at the 29th National Space Symposium

Secure World Foundation (SWF) has partnered with Space Foundation to co-sponsor the New Generation Space Leaders Program at the 29th National Space Symposium. The program is designed to bring together young professionals and senior leaders, and will include workshop sessions, Q&A sessions, speed mentoring, social networking, and receptions. On Monday, April 8, 2013, SWF will co-host a New Generation Space Leaders Networking Reception from 4:30 to 5:30 PM with the Space Foundation at the Broadmoor Hotel.

SWF will also co-sponsor a panel discussion on Thursday, April 11, 2013 entitled “Long Term Sustainability of Space – Practices for the Future.” The discussion will be held at the International Center: Main Stage and SWF Executive Director  Michael Simpson will serve as moderator. The panelists include: Ambassador Jacek Bylica, Principal Adviser and Special Envoy for Non-proliferation and Disarmament, European External Action Service, European Union; Ms. Kay Sears, President, Intelsat General; Mr. James S. Simpson, Vice President of Business Development, Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems; and Dr. Kazuto Suzuki, Professor of International Political Economy, Hokkaido University.

The National Space Symposium is held at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is known as the premier U.S. space policy and program forum and as the “must attend” opportunity for information on and interaction among all sectors of space. The Space Symposium attracts attendees across all sectors of the space community, including space agencies, commercial businesses, federal and state government agencies, private organizations, cyber security organizations, think tanks, and more. This year's symposium will be held from April 8 - 11, 2013.
