Nicole Nir

Nicole Nir is the Human Resources Manager for Secure World Foundation. Ms. Nir joined SWF in 2015 as their Headquarters Assistant and has filled numerous roles on the Ops Team. Before joining SWF, Ms. Nir provided administrative support within the hospitality, real estate, and construction industries. Ms. Nir also spent four years working with senior citizens at Mather Lifeways, including providing support to people with advanced dementia. Ms. Nir is passionate about permaculture, collective liberation, and community organizing. She has supported the Denver Permaculture Guild as the 2018-2019 coordinator, as well as facilitated 20-hour trainings for street medics.

Ms. Nir is a member of the Space Generation Advisory Council's Space Ethics and Human Rights Project Group.

Education

Ms. Nir attended Loyola University in Chicago where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Human Services, and minors in Women and Gender Studies and Music. She participated in the 2019 ISU Space Studies Program in Strasbourg and is a master's student in Applied Diplomacy with a concentration in Critical Ethnic Studies at DePaul University in Chicago.
